Amber Bonnici is the founder of DivaDawn Design, a company created to help women live their inner knowing by offering art, writing, movement, education and support in order to bring healing and inspiration.

Amber’s artwork reflects her inner musings and healing journey.  Using symbolism and the feminine image, she connects to the deep places within every woman.  She seeks to paint with honesty, inspiring women to empower themselves, connecting to Divine.  Her work is a part of the emerging contemporary symbolism movement.

Her artwork has won numerous awards including First Place and People’s Choice Award at the Helen B. Cassidy Memorial Art Show sponsored by the Waimea Arts Council.

Since 2010, she has studied with Shiloh Sophia McCloud, international artist, gallery owner, teacher and coach and Sue Hoya Sellers, international artist.  She has participated in several mentorships including Leading a Legendary Life, Medicine Mama and Blooming Artist.  She has completed the Her Evolution Training and recently completed the 6 month Color of Woman Teacher Training through Cosmic Cowgirls University.

“Painting is a sacred practice, like praying or meditating.  I like to connect to Spirit and listen for messages.  Each image conveys  different themes from my life- from desiring deep friendship to embracing the wild woman within.  My work is both wild and holy.”

Amber’s uses poetry and short story to express that which rarely has a voice.  Her poetry has been published in Cosmic Cowgirls Magazine, an online magazine dedicated to women visionaries and dreamers.  Her artwork and poetry has been featured in the Healing Boxes Project, an organization dedicated to sending out boxes of love, hope, support, information and healing items to people newly diagnosed with chronic and serious illness.

Amber has studied The Nia Technique under co-founders Debbie Rosas and Carlos Aya-Rosas, a mind-body fitness fusion inspired by 9 movement forms including Jazz, Tae Kwon Do, and Yoga.   She currently holds a black belt, teaching over 10 years.  From Nia she learned to connect to joyful body sensation, healing and then guide her students to do the same.  She dances for Hula Halau Na Lei ‘O Kaholoku led by Kumu Hula Nani Lim-Yap and Kumu Hula Leialoha Amina.  In Guadalajara, Mexico she studied Latin Dance, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and Mambo.   Her martial arts background includes Tai Chi Chu’an and Judo.  She can shake her booty with rhythm and be fierce all at the same time.

Amber seeks to end isolation among women and connect them to their inner wisdom.  Currently, her offerings include artwork, 1-on-1 coaching, women’s circles and retreats.  She lives her love work while living life- mommy of Sage (7) and Bodhi (5) and partner of her beloved Tony, life coach and meditation teacher.
